My Best Friend was established in 1972 and the current owner, Susan Parker, purchased the shop in 1985. We’re a full service grooming, boarding, and day care facility for dogs and cats. We strive to accommodate all of your pet’s individual needs!

Our stylists are experienced in all of the American Kennel Club standard breed cuts and are proficient in the very popular “puppy cut”! Each grooming includes a bath, using the highest quality shampoos and conditioners (oatmeal, medicated, and flea treatments upon request), a nail clipping, ear cleaning, and expression of the anal gland.

Boarding and day care accommodations for your canine or feline are only second to home. Your pet is pampered with a private room, personal locker, fresh bedding daily, and clean dishes for each meal. Guests with special needs are welcomed; our staff is trained to administer all medications (including insulin shots). Unless otherwise specified, our guests are fed twice daily (breakfast at 7 am and dinner around 4 pm).

We have a double gated, privacy fenced, cement patio that your pet enjoys at least 5 times during business hours and once in the evening between 8 and 10 pm. We require our guests to be up to date on all vaccinations and require proof at time of check-in.
